“There is more then one correct way to assemble the parts of a bicycle. If you make a bicycle, that is craft. If you make a “bulls head,” that is art.”
Teller - the smaller, quieter half of Penn & Teller - fights to protect his idea.
And here you thought it was just for kids.
“Only passions, great passions can elevate the soul to great things.”
Yeah.
On July 5th, 2011, I made my debut appearance at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA.
The Close-up Gallery, where I performed, is the most intimate performance space in The Castle. Tiered seating for an audience of twenty-two provides the perfect venue for close-up sleight-of-hand magic.
The intense performing schedule — you’re booked to do 4 shows a night for a week! — certainly serve to focus one’s efforts. It doesn’t take long for the act to get “tight” and for the creative juices to start flowing. Unlike the walk-around entertaining I perform at corporate or private events, in The Close-Up Gallery I presented a theatrical-style close-up show.

Thanks to everyone who attended.
Yeah.
“Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.”
The Art of Manliness is a wonderful and inspiring website where they are reviving this lost art. In they’re ongoing series, So You Want My Job, they share some unique careers men have chosen to pursue. My contribution appeared in August 2010.
Schedule at The Magic Castle is posted six-weeks in advance. I’m officially on "the bill."
